The British East India Company established its historic presence in India in the early 17th Century. Calcutta became the first capital of the British Raj. Other trading communities gradually developed along the coast, creating the other vibrant port cities of Bombay and Madras.
During subsequent years, British and native Indians mingled and married. Their intertwined cultures innovated, prospered and thrived, creating the reputation of India as the Jewel in the Crown of the British Empire.......
Delicious Indian food and drinks! Would definitely go back. Such a fun atmosphere and interestingly decorated space. Great for a date or just a night with friends—we had so much fun! I ordered the Butter Paneer and a Bramble cocktail and it was so good! Google Reviews!
Emily SanbornReally fabulous Indian restaurant. The interior feels very British colonial Indian and is beautiful, really great atmosphere. The service was great, the waitress was very friendly and service was efficient. The food was really delicious and very reasonably priced. The menu has a nice variety of Indian food. They have a great cocktail menu too. I would definitely come back again. Google Reviews!
Paddy PilkingtonStopped in for a quick drink, stayed for a great time !! The service was beyond awesome, and the drinks were as good as they come !! Bern SantosCool, British Indian Officer's club dining room with a fun monkey motif running throughout. Seating is intimately cramped and the music and crowd can be overly loud but the staff is very friendly and attentive. My friends and I enjoyed our meals and cocktails. Not the best Indian food I've ever had but still tasty! Google Reviews!
Tony NationThe cocktails are amazing! We had such a romantic and lovely experience in there. I highly recommend and the food is really good. It's worth it for the whole package! Google Reviews!
